A crunchy apple crumble with a melt in the mouth summer fruit filling

Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Mix 100g of flour, 100g caster sugar and 100g oats in a bowl
  2. Add the diced butter and mix into a rough crumb
  3. Place the cut apples into a 20cm baking dish and sprinkle with the remaining caster sugar, cinnamon and water
  4. Tip the crumb mix on top of the apples and spread roughly
  5. Bake in the oven for approximately 35 mintes until golden brown.
  6. Serve with custard, pouring cream or ice cream and enjoy!
Recipe Notes

Pre heat your oven to fan 160 degrees centigrade and be careful not to overbake the fruits. If you prefer a deeper filling simply use a smaller dish but with the same amount of ingredients. Personally I love a deep crunchy topping, but I’m strange like that!
